Hello! When the compiler compiles your exe-project, it also copies the referenced assemblies to your build folder (e.g. <project>/Bin/Debug). This is called a "shadow copy". Check and see if the dlls there are write protected. This can happen if you put the shadow copies in SourceSafe for instance.Get this compile error "Could not copy temporary files to the output directory."
When I build an exe file that use 6 class library dll I get this error.
Could not copy temporary files to the output directory.
The file 'MeltPracStorage.dll' cannot be copied to the run directory. Det
går inte att komma åt filen eftersom den används av en annan process.
All six project is located in the solution that build the exe file
This compile error occurred when I add project 'MeltPracStorage to the
solution.
I use copy local=true
If I have this MeltPracStorage in a solution of its own and only reference
the class dll MeltPracStorage.dll in the reference list for the project that
build the exe file I don't get any errors.
The MeltPracStorage.dll size is 176 kB
Have you any kind of suggestion to ny problem.
//TonySv: Get this compile error "Could not copy temporary files to the output directo
If this is not the case, try turning of Shadow Copy in your project options, and see if it helps. If so, the files were locked, but by som other means than file write protect.
