Synopsis

Can you export to Adobe Acrobat PDF format from Crystal Reports?

Solution

Exporting to PDF format is not available when you install version 8 Crystal Reports.

However, you can download a ZIP file containing a supported version of the PDF exporting DLL (U2fpdf.dll, version 8.5.0.37) from our support website:

Go to www.seagatesoftware.com/downloads and search for
CR8_PDF_RTF_ExportDriver.zip

Exporting to PDF is only possible in version 8 of Crystal Reports - it will fail in any other version. For further information about the PDF exporting DLL, please refer to the Readme.txt file that is included in ZIP file.

NOTE:======

This exporting DLL is supported by technical support. Ensure that you are using the most current version of the export DLL.

This export DLL is designed to work in Adobe Acrobat 4.05 or later.
